Electrical connection of bollards and pole-top luminaires – faster than ever: The BEGA connection box with WAGO compact connection terminals is the perfect solution for convenient commissioning of outdoor luminaires with a conductor cross-section of up to 6 mm². To achieve this, BEGA and WAGO have entered into an extremely efficient and closely coordinated alliance. Continuously improving products and optimising their handling for the installer: The BEGA connection box with WAGO 221 Series Compact connection boxes is technically sophisticated for the benefit of the user. A housing made of a glass-fibre reinforced synthetic material guarantees the robustness and functionality expected of BEGA products. The transparent housing cover can be easily removed inside the luminaires to allow work to be carried out conveniently. It also has an additional safety function: The box cannot be closed if even one of the WAGO connecting terminals is not closed.
Convenient time savings of approximately 30 percent
The arrangement of the terminals on the mounting rails allows the installer to insert the wires from the front. Wiring is much faster and easier than screwing the conductors together conventionally, even in the smallest spaces. In a direct comparison test, an average time saving of 30 percent per luminaire connection was achieved. The connection box is also optionally available with integrated overvoltage protection or with integrated Bluetooth DALI Gateway for configuration and control of the connected luminaire via app.
