Wall washers for the illumination of vertical surfaces

for installation on the ground

These floor-mounted luminaires are used for the homogeneous illumination of vertical surfaces - they are able to illuminate façades from the base to the eaves. The upper light emission can be adapted exactly to the height of the façade without light being emitted unused into the night sky. The lower limit of the light distribution is linear, without the usual "light cones" of recessed ground spotlights. The significantly lower installation costs compared to recessed luminaires Reduces installation costs and offers a high degree of flexibility. The luminaires are simply fixed to the substrate using a mounting plate. An on-site hole is required under the luminaire for cable routing.

We offer a connection housing as a supplementary part for the different requirements at the installation site. The luminaires can therefore be mounted on unstable surfaces.

Precise adaptation to the architecture

The upper limit of the light emission angle can be infinitely adjusted between 50° and 80°. This allows the light to be adjusted precisely to the height of the architecture from the specified light point. Regardless of the selected light direction, the illuminated vertical surface is always guaranteed to be illuminated continuously and homogeneously right down to the ground.

The height of the upper cut-off depends on how the light emission angle is set. The directed light also ensures optimum glare suppression, ensuring façade lighting that is minimally invasive and has as little impact as possible on the darkness of the night.

For a simple rough calculation, we can provide you with a project planning aid, so that you can read out the required degree of illuminance and luminaire arrangement from the size of the object to be illuminated.
