At BEGA, we are always thinking of lighting in the context of the architecture it is illuminating. It’s all about the interplay of the two, the connection. That is why we have created an Architectural Lighting Management System (ALMS) with a simple, descriptive name: BEGA Connect.

It expands the possibilities of professional light control and combines light and architecture into one holistic concept. A concept that is constantly adapting and evolving. And taking advantage of the latest technologies such as the Narrowband Internet of Things (Narrowband IoT).

The hardware for BEGA Connect

DALI Connectors

The DALI Connector is used in projects where Internet access via LAN or WLAN is provided by the customer.

As a compact DIN rail mounted device, it is installed in a sub-distribution board.

Air Connector

Thanks to its integrated connectivity via narrowband IoT, the Air Connector is ideal for projects where access to the local network infrastructure is not possible or desired.

Three designs for different installations are available:

Zhaga Air Connector

We have developed the Zhaga Air Connector especially for post-top luminaires with Zhaga Book 18 Ed. 3.0 interface.

It brings individual light points online, which are then managed and controlled in one central system.

Our Architectural Lighting Mangement System BEGA Connect with the BEGA Air Connector is the problem solver and convenient control center for use with self-sufficient online access via Narrowband IoT. Simply switch it on - and the lighting installation on the mountain is online without an on-site internet connection.
