Installation components

This page provides a schematic overview of all installation components. The corresponding installation components are assigned to the system pendant luminaires on the product pages.

Installation components with the “Smart” prefixare compatible with BEGA Smart and can therefore be operated wirelessly via app or remote control.

Type A · AS

Type A: Surface-mounted canopy

For the electrical installation and mounting of a pendant luminaire on any type of straight ceiling.

Type AS: Surface-mounted canopy · Smart

Identical in construction to type A, but with built-in Smart Controller for wireless control of the luminaire using BEGA Smart.

Type B · BS

Type B: Surface-mounted canopy

For the electrical installation and mounting of a pendant luminaire on any type of straight and sloped ceiling (inclination of 0 - 40°).

Type BS Surface-mounted canopy · Smart

Identical in construction to type B, but with built-in Smart Controller for wireless control of the luminaire using BEGA Smart.

Type C · CS

Type C: Recessed canopy

for the mounting and electrical installation of BEGA system pendant luminaires on sloped or flat suspended ceilings. Suitable for sloped ceilings with an inclination of 0 - 40°.

Type CS: Recessed canopy · Smart

Identical in construction to type C, but with built-in Smart Controller for wireless control of the luminaire using BEGA Smart.

Type D

Type D: Track adapter

For the integration of a pendant luminaire in surface-mounted and recessed 3-phase Eurostandard Plus® track systems.
